October 31, 2011 - PD-LD, Inc., is pleased to announce that two of its bi-directional modules are replacing Zarlink Semiconductor, Inc.’s MF699 and MF799 duplex devices, which are no longer in production. PD-LD’s PW85ST replaces Zarlink MF799, and PD-LD PW13ST replaces Zarlink MF699.

Like the Zarlink MF799, PD-LD’s PW85ST emits optical power at 850nm and detects incoming optical power at 1310nm. The PW13ST, likewise, emits optical power at 1310nm and detects incoming power at 850nm.
