• Products: Telecom is one of PD-LD’s primary areas of activity. The company has a long track record of supplying components to telecom manufacturers and service providers. All Active Devices (fiber-coupled emitters & detectors, ELEDs, SLEDs, bi-directional devices, triplexers, sugar cubes and more) are used by telecom customers, including datacom (LAN, building-to-building, etc.) and telecom networks. For example, PD-LD’s “Sugar cubes”, which combine emitters and detectors in a unique packaging, are used for media conversion.
• Examples: PD-LD has supplied bi-directional diodes for surveillance cameras for the electronics division of a Fortune 100 company.
