• Products: Providing components for selective wavelength laser sources used in medical treatments. PD-LD’s VBG technology yields lasers of great precision of wavelength, a critical component of many medical devices. An example of an application of this technology is the pulse compressors for ultra-short (femtosecond) lasers used in opthamologic applications.
• Customers: PD-LD has previously supplied 647nm red lasers diodes for photodynamic therapy (PDT) applications. Our VBG products have been used to manufacture laser-based treatments for topical skin infections.
