PD-LD’s products are used in industrial and manufacturing settings across a wide vareity of industries. Many of our active fiber optic products are used as components in various sensors and other instruments needed for precision control of manufacturing processes. Additionally, our VBG®-stabilized products are crucial components of Raman spectroscopes and other precision control products.

For example, a PD-LD-built Raman laser source was used ot provide quantitative analysis of aromatics in a process strem in an oil refinery. PD-LD’s Raman sources are also being used in a new line of spectrometers recently brought to market by one of our customers.
