VBG® stabilized laser diodes for Raman spectroscopy and instrumentation
A major application for VBG® stabilized laser diodes is instrumentation, such as Raman spectroscopy, flow cytometry, DNA sequencing and other bio-instrumentation. The VBG® wavelength stabilized devices have excellent characteristics: Both, stabilized laser diodes and complete, high stbility laser modules, (sources), for Raman spectroscopy and other instruments are available.

Another major application of VBG® technology is the wavelength stabilization of high power laser diodes and laser diode arrays, e.g., for more efficient pumping of solid state lasers and fiber lasers. Some dramatic improvements have been achieved:

in the single emitter line are 1, 2
and 3 Watt diodes in C-mount, TO 3
and 9 mm can packages. Standard wavelengths
are 785 nm, 808 nm, 938nm and 976 nm.

of any power or wavelength. The improvement
in the emission characteristics is
the same as in the case of single emitters.
The geometry and dimensions of VBGr® stabilized
diode arrays are comparable to standard
diode arrays.
Our
standard VBG® stabilized
diode arrays include 20 and 40 watt
devices emitting at 808 nm, 938 nm
or 976 nm. Please inquire about other

Raman™ Boxx is a compact laser source module, particularly suitable for Raman spectroscopyIts wavelength and power stability matches much costlier laser modules.Present products are based on 532 nm and 785 nm lasers, but other wavelengths are also available.Power output ranges from 10 mw to over 1 watt.
